6.3% Drop in Weekly Poker Traffic for Last Week

Worldwide slow-down of activity compared to the last year’s performance
The weekly report on industry performance issued by the independent online poker monitor Pokerscout shows a 6.3% drop in internet poker traffic for the last week as compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, this is the sixth week in a row seeing the decline in market performance.
The top market position is still held by Pokerstars with a healthy margin in front of the second-ranked iPoker and Party Poker in the third position. The leaders are followed by 888poker and the Ongame network in the fourth and fifth spots.
Still, it is worth mentioning that all five industry leaders marked lower results.
In y-o-y comparison, overall online poker traffic shrank by 21%. PKR marked drop of 42%, Merge declined by 21% and the French website owned by Pokerstars decreased by 33%.
