Max Steinberg (23) outplayed a field of 2 795 in the Event 33 of the World Series of Poker $1000 no-limit hold’em to win the main prize of $440 238 and take home the gold bracelet for the first time in his professional career.

The young poker pro from Fairfield, Iowa was known for his runner-up position in the WSOP 2010 event.
