French Player Takes Down WSOPE NLHE Shootout

This week saw the end of the Euro 3,250 buy-in No-limit hold ’em Shootout at the World Series of Poker Europe which went to a French businessman Giovanni Rosadoni (52), who took home a hefty prize Euro 107,614.
He outplayed the rest of the field, which included the likes of John Monette (finished third); Oleksii Kovalchuk (fourth); John Duthie (ninth); Philippe Boucher (eleventh); Phil Hellmuth (twelfth); Chance Kornuth (fourteenth); Daniel Negreanu and Faraz Jaka (sixteenth and seventeenth respectively); and Max Stout (eighteenth).
In the heads-up he escorted 28-year-old Las Vegas poker pro Dan O&Brien to the exit with the second placing prize of Euro 66,503.
