Second Nevada online poker operating licencee moves on with its plans

After getting a nod from the Nevada Gaming Commission for its opeator license application, Monarch Interactive announced it is considering the next steps on its way to online poker operations.

Namely, before going live with its offering, Monarch will need to find a partner amongst licensed interactive gaming service providers and go through a stringent independent technology testing.

It was stressed by David Farahi, chief operating officer of parent group Monarch Casino and Resort, Inc.: “We are very pleased to have received one of the first two Nevada interactive gaming operator licenses issued. We are evaluating several interactive poker software providers and intend to partner with the provider that can offer the best quality product to our guests.

“We believe that the potential for synergy between our land based and interactive gaming offerings is significant.”
