Update: WSOP Event 29 Gets Near to Its End

4128 players came down to only a few
One of the most interesting and the biggest fields so far at this year’s World Series of Poker, Event 29, the $1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Senior Championship is currently being played down to the last few survivors, who managed to stand out from the rest of the 4,128 field.
One of the biggest hopefuls is former World Series of Poker main event champ Dennis Phillips, who was holding a comfortable chip lead ahead of his remaining rivals Hoyt Corkins and Bill Stabler, Allyn Jaffrey Shulman, Stuart Spear and Bob Phelps.
And even though the latest stats released by World Series of Poker show that entries are slightly lower than last year – about 3 percent – that is likely to be adjusted as the 2012 edition moves forward, mostly thanks to the million dollar buy-in Big One for One Drop charity event.
