question about online poker bonuses?

I deposited 2 grand in my wifes name lost it and never logged in again, they recently sent her $100, do alot of poker rooms do this to try to get you back?? this was absolute poker

    Most of them have some kind of bonus program, yes. But most of the ones I have head of or experienced, they just put your bonus right into your account as you accumulate frequent player points.

    It sounds like you are a horrible player that did the right thing by never logging on again.

    No – they did not do it to get you back. / They did it because it’s their policy and promise to do it when she signed on.

    Most of the poker sites have sign-on bonuses but you don’t get that bonus unless you accumulate a certain amount of points in a certain amount of time. – This usually adds up to a lot of time behind your computer which is what they want.

    Example – PokerStars will give you 50-dollars if you sign on and add 50-dollars to your cash-account. In order to get that 50.00 you must accumulate 500 FFP (frequent player points) in a few months.

    If you only play 1 hour a week you will never ever get 500 points in time to get your bonus…. so you play more.
    If you go bust in a week, and you only had 100 points, you’ll have to add more money to your account, and play more, to increase your points and get your bonus.

    I don’t know what Absolute-Poker’s policy is – but you or your wife lived up to your end so they are living up to theirs.

    i deposit only 100 and they played for a while. then they sent me 100 out of nowhere. i called to see what the catch was and they explained they only wanted my business. so i played it and it was true. no strings attached, just trying to keep a customer. try them out. i am a referred member now and love it. use my referral id 1272985 in the referred by column for an additional 135% sign up bonus. you will see the random stuff they send.
